Starting processes
A process can be started for various objects in the system – clients, engagements, etc. The object from which the process is started is called the owner.
Whether a process can be started from a client or from an engagement is set separately for each process – see Process details.
Starting a process creates one or more tasks linked to the owner.
Where to start a process
- For one object – from the actions menu or the context menu of a client or engagement → New process.
- For a group of objects – select two or more clients or engagements in the list and choose New process from the Selected (x) button.
Select a process
A dialog shows a list of all active processes available for the given object type.

- Filter the processes by part of the name to find the one you need more easily.
- Select Multiple processes to choose more than one process.
Click Select. A dialog appears in which you can change some parameters before the process is created. The fields are described in “Start process” dialog.
After you save, the processes are created. If only one process was created for one client or engagement, a dialog opens with the details of the main task of the process.
