The task is the smallest unit in organizing and managing work. It can be standalone, part of a process, part of a plan or part of a group of independent tasks related to a particular event. When providing services, in administrative work and in everyday work, people constantly work on tasks – sometimes dependent on one another, sometimes grouped.
In bau24 tasks are created in two ways:
- manually – as separate standalone tasks;
- from a process – with preset parameters, as part of a process from the process library.
Each task gets a unique number and cannot be deleted.
Create a task manually
You can create a new task:
- from the task list (Tasks or My tasks in the main menu) with the
button; - from the context menu of a client or from the actions menu in the client list → New task;
- from the context menu of an engagement or from the actions menu in the engagement list → New task.
When the task is created from a client or an engagement, the respective field is pre-filled.
